ALAS: Aliens In The Aegean - A Sea Under Siege

Research Programme that will fill many knowledge gaps on the impacts of marine invasive alien species and the spatial extent and variation of such impacts, and will contribute in improving our understanding of the mechanisms of impacts of invasive alien species on marine ecosystems
Ecological Impacts

Alien Species in the Aegean

ALAS is a three-year long research project being conducted in Greece by the Marine Biodiversity and Ecosystems Management Lab of the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of the Aegean. It is funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation under the “First Call for H.F.R.I. Research Projects to support Faculty members and Researchers and the procurement of high-cost research equipment grant” .

ALAS Aims
